TNT N.V. - Buyback of ordinary shares

Publish Date : 18 December 2006 at 08:30 CET - Amsterdam, Further to the share buyback program announced on 6 November 2006, TNT N.V. announces that:

  • on 11 December 2006, it purchased 188,500 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 31.5706 per share,
  • on 12 December 2006, it purchased 230,000 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 31.7738 per share,
  • on 13 December 2006, it purchased 305,000 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 32.0117 per share,
  • on 14 December 2006, it purchased 177,750 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 31.9811 per share,
  • on 15 December 2006, it purchased 178,142 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 32.0856 per share,
  • during the period from 6 November 2006 until and including 15 December 2006, it purchased 26,270,143 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 32.0653 per share, and
  • the total amount of the share buyback until and including 15 December 2006 therefore amounts to 84.2% of the announced buyback up to euro 1 billion.

It is TNT's intention to cancel the repurchased shares.
