TNT launches new portfolio of morning delivery services
Amsterdam, Today, TNT announces the launch of its new service portfolio to offer customers an extended range of standardised international and domestic services across the globe. Adding two new time-guaranteed services - '10:00 Express' and '12:00 Economy Express' - to the existing ‘9:00 Express' and '12:00 Express', TNT puts a strong emphasis on morning deliveries and now offers more morning delivery services than any of its competitors. The '12:00 Economy Express' in particular is an industry first, providing customers with a service that is both economical and time guaranteed. The new service portfolio is launched globally and will be operational from September 17.

Pandas arrive safe and sound in Madrid Zoo - TNT transportation of Bing Xing and Hua Zuiba a success
Madrid, after a two day trip from Chengdu to Madrid the two giant panda bears, Bing Xing and Hua Zuiba, have arrived safe and sound in their new habitat in the Madrid Zoo. Here they will enjoy a two week rest in order to acclimatise and get used to their new home surroundings and be prepared to receive a warm, royal and overwhelming welcome in late September.

Giant Pandas wave goodbye to China and fly towards a Spanish welcome - Star of Ice and Cuty Lips up for a long, comfortable journey
Amsterdam, It was a big moment for the two giant panda bears when they left their home turf today onboard a TNT-truck for a journey around the globe to their new home in Madrid Zoo in Spain. Both Bing Xing, 'Star of Ice' and Hua Zuiba, 'Cuty Lips' have started their 2-day journey after an emotional farewell ceremony at the Chengdu Research Base for Giant Panda Breeding to Chengdu airport. From here their journey will go to Shanghai and then directly through to Madrid leaving their place of birth for a 10-year stay which is a part of the Giant Panda International Conservation Cooperation Project between Spain and China.

TNT ranks first in Dow Jones Sustainability Index 2007
Amsterdam, TNT ranks first in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) 2007. The final results were announced today in Zurich by SAM research, one of the co-founders of the index. TNT improved its score from 84 in 2006 to 91 this year, reaching both the leading position in the super sector "Industrial Goods and Services" (which includes Transportation) and the highest score of any company in the DJSI.
